“You look like a nice boy, I bet you have a lot of friends…” Oh, spine chilling, goosebump-inducing clown, can you just STOP? It was deliciously bad enough that Pennywise hit our screens in 2017 in what was arguably the year's most scary movie but now we hear the evil clown is making a comeback and we. can't. even.
The 1986 book, written by the world’s best horror novelist, Stephen King has been split into two films. As we can all remember, the first followed the story of the Losers Club. They've long since gone their separate ways and now they’ll reunite almost three decades later amid new threats by their nemesis Pennywise, who will again be played by Bill Bill Skarsgård.
And, if it’s anything like the first, which grossed more than a whopping $700 million globally, we can expect IT CHAPTER TWO to have all the heart-stopping horror of the first.
As Ben Hanscom said in the first movie: “Derry is not like any town I've been in before. They did a study once and, it turns out, people die or disappear at six times the national average. And that's just grown ups.”
We’re doomed.
