News has broken that Neneh Cherry is headlining at Sydney Festival 2019 and we may just be losing our darn marbles. The Swedish rebel icon of trip-hop and all round queeeeen is bringing her albums Broken Politics and Blank Project to one of Sydney’s largest annual cultural celebrations.
Following a long hiatus from the international pop sensation, who is known for her mega hits ‘Buffalo Stance’, ‘Manchild’ and ‘Woman’, she is now testing new musical waters. Whilst her very presence is a political act, this timeless feminist has been ultra-vocal about her anger towards the current state of US politics, via her utterly epic Broken Politics album.
