Living in Sydney means we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to markets. Head to the west for epic food markets, the east and south for farmers’ and produce stalls that are next level and the north for all things fashion. But now, there’s a new kind of market that should be on your radar, we’re talking the underground kind.
Hosted in an underground carpark and showcasing arts, crafts and creations from a number of profiled Sydney artists, the Artists’ Christmas Boot Sale is a new kind of retail therapy. You’ll be stepping into cars transformed into mini galleries and fossicking in boots for original art, ceramics and textiles.
There’ll also be DJs, a heap of refreshments and a pop-up gift-wrapping store (for your last minute Christmas wrapping needs) with all proceeds donated to Wesley Mission to tackle homelessness in Sydney. Head here for more.
