A handful of local and international celebrity chefs are hoping to break the internet this week, posting some very suggestive looking dishes on their social media accounts—all in the name of a good cause.

The ‘Rude Food’ campaign has brought together celebrity chefs Manu Feildel, Ainsley Harriot and Fast Ed among others to help promote the Australian New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trial Group’s (ANZUP) latest campaign to help raise awareness of ‘below the belt’ cancers.

Chef Manu Feildel’s aptly titled ‘cockembouche’ has copped a literal eyeful already with over 7000 likes on Instagram, while Sonya Meffadi’s chocolate-dipped bananas are a more subtle nod to the theme. Cue arancini balls with some serious artistic licence, a ‘spicy’ 12-inch long sopressa pizza, and a classic meat and two veg iterations that will have you blushing.

The aim? To remove the stigma attached to penile, testicular, bladder, kidney and prostate cancers while raising awareness of the incredible advancements currently being done in clinical trials imperative to help prevent and cure genital cancers.

With over 24,000 men and women in Australia and New Zealand diagnosed with so-called ‘below the belt’ cancers every year, the campaign is hoping to encourage people to get checked regularly by a GP but also to educate communities about getting involved in clinical trials.

Get involved and create and post your very own #rudefood, or simply enjoy the creative efforts of Australia’s impeccable culinary.
