It’s officially been ten years of the Bondi Winter Magic Festival and this year is going to be bigger than ever, with history walks, live music lining the streets and Bondi Feast (a fringe-style winter festival celebrating everything art-wise). Head here for more details.

Yes, an absolutely free movie venue, The Soda Factory has been holding epic Monday Movie nights for a long time. This month, gear up for screenings of some absolute classics. Think Pocahontas for the Disney fanatics, The Breakfast Club, Mrs Doubtfire and High School Musical, for those who shamelessly know all the words and dance moves.

Trivia Tuesdays

Sea Sound Presents: Milan Ring + Okenyo
Inner West queens Milan Ring and Okenyo are hitting up the fabulous Marrickville establishment for a live set. Milan Ring is bringing to the stage her orchestrated balance between analogue and digital worlds, mixing raw guitar and live percussion with electronic drums and synths. Okenyo is bringing forward her powerful evoking storytelling through her lyricism. Check out more information here.

Stargazing Night
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, one of the most spectacular moments in human history, Australian Geographic are hosting special stargazing nights. Another milestone to recognise is the 60th anniversary of NASA, for whom none of this would be possible. Bastille Festival
To celebrate Bastille Day, Circular Quay is turning into our very own French province. Every day you’ll spot a brand-new activity and event happening so keep your eyes peeled. On the list already are wine tasting tours, wine and cheese festivals, oyster and champagne bars and a mulled wine cinema. Join the revolution and head down to the harbour. Free Fries
When anyone hears those two words, there is guaranteed to be a stampede. For National Fry Day (even though it’s on Saturday), at any of the Lord of the Fries stores around Sydney to get your fry fix for absolutely free. Knowing the obsession of hot chips with any Sydneysider, you’ll definitely have to queue up, so get there early.

Timezone Haymarket Launch
It’s time to feel like a child again because another Timezone has been resurrected into Sydney’s own Haymarket area. With bumper cars, a dance stage and of course new and the ever-classic arcade games. Burramatta NAIDOC
Head along out towards Parramatta for a celebration of everything indigenous, also known as, what makes this country great. Doggy Day
A day dedicated to your pups, how special. This doggy day will be head down at The Marly, so leash your good boy (or girl) up and walk them down for a whole line up of fun stuff. With professional paw-traits, homemade dog treats and doggy coats, collars and bandanas being sold, your pooch will be the talk of the town. All proceeds will go towards Paws & Recover.
