If you’re after a way to indulge in all things winter right now, there’s a lot happening in Sydney this year to satisfy your inner snow angel. From snow festivals to pop-up toboggan mountains and mulled wine—the city is really (really) embracing the season.

Brand new to the list of winter activities happening across the city is a multi-level winter wonderland complete with, wait for it, rooftop igloos.

Barangaroo House, arguably one of Barangaroo’s most interesting buildings, is throwing a winter festival across each of its three sprawling levels.

Kick off at House Bar on the ground floor, where you’ll find a special set of beautiful Belvedere vodka cocktails to keep you feeling warm. At Bea, you’ll be able to thaw out with chef Tom Haynes woodfired menu. For $10, you can order “Bea-tinis”—mini martinis paired with bar snacks like charred tiger prawns fresh off the coals or with spatchcock chicken and green rice stuffing.

Last but not least at Smoke, the venue’s stunning rooftop, you’ll find a set of igloos decked out in faux fur cushions, lanterns and fairy lights. Here you’ll be able to feast on cheese and chocolate fondue, order an actual cauldron of mulled wine, or a hot Bloody Mary. On weekends, there’s a bottomless champagne menu complete with “alpine snacks” (toasted cashews, sourdough, wagyu bresaola, pork skewers, toasties and hot chips).
