Grab Your Inflatable Flamingo, The Airbnb For Pools Just Launched In Australia

If you’ve always dreamt of basking in the luxury of owning your own private pool, or spent a bunch of time scheming for a quick dip into your neighbour's fancy infinity pool—we’ve got some pretty epic news for your summer.

Swimply is the first-ever online marketplace for pool sharing and it's launching in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria today. In other words, it’s Airbnb—but for absolutely epic pools. That means no more waiting by your phone for an invite to your mate's house for a swim, or trawling through mammoth summer beach crowds for a small share of paradise.

So how does it work? Download the app to your smartphone, search your city and filter through pool availability with dates, time and how many people you want to bring over. Plus you’ll get some stellar extras like backyard dining areas, deck chairs and inflatables to maximise your best summer ever. Pools are available to book by the hour and are vetted by Poolwerx to ensure a high standard of quality and safety is met.

If you have a pool and you want to share it, Swimply allows you to make a bit of extra cash, but still have full control over availability, prices, pool rules, and whether or not to accept an incoming booking request.

Unsurprisingly, Swimply has already taken off in the US, so we’re keen as for this one to drop in Australia. To celebrate their Aussie launch, Swimply is offering a 20% discount on your first pool rental. Simply enter SWIMDOWNUNDER to redeem the discount.
