Let us get straight to the damn point. It’ll be known as FestivalX and yes, judging from all the talk about this summer party already, it’s set to be a biggie.
Basically, Hardware and Onelove (just the mighty brains behind Stereosonic) have joined forces with one of the world’s largest live music champions, Live Nation, to kick-off a brand-spankin’ new summer festival and we’re here for it. To give you a bit of an idea, Live Nation are the guys responsible for throwing iconic parties like Austin City Limits Lollapalooza, Falls Festival, and Creamfields.
The line-up is well under wraps at the moment but word on the street is that it’ll include Aria, Grammy and Billboard winners so we think it’s safe to say the party vibes will be through the bloody roof. And which cities will be the lucky receivers of this hella OTT festival? Think Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
As for the type of actual music that’ll be showcased, you’re in for massive hip-hop tunes, EDM and electronica. For now, you’ll want to save the date and pre-register for tix here.
