If you’ve ever needed a reason to drink, we’ve found it. Negroni week is officially a thing and you now have permission to drink as many Negronis as you god damn want, every day, for an entire week.
From 4 to 10 June, thanks to our good friends at Campari, The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room is hosting 7 Negronis, 7 Days!, to hail the king of all cocktails, and raise money for Oz Harvest. Serving up your poison straight off a gold rustic bar cart, and whipping up each creation at your table (so you don’t even need to move), you can choose from (you guessed it) seven different types of Negroni. If you can’t make it to The Morrison, you can also catch the Negroni cocktail cart at her sister venue The Imperial in Erskineville.
Keep things classic with the bottled or old school Negroni, or try your fave concoction with a twist. Think: sour, blood orange or pink with rosé and a dash of grapefruit bitters. Instagrammers should opt for the peach fizz Negroni (with Campari, Tanqueray Gin, sweet vermouth, prosecco, peach and peach wedges) but if you’re feeling adventurous, order the Oyster Sbagliato, which is garnished with an actual oyster and Campari jelly!
True Negroni lovers will obvs want to try one of each, so book yourself a seat here, STAT.
